Review: ‘Good People’ a hilarious, sobering tale of gritty Boston – Tony Farrell, Richmond Times-Dispatch

“Yet again, Cadence has chosen a compelling, new play, filled it with strong actors and left the audience to absorb the fireworks.

“Every minute they are on stage together is hilarious. Millman and Lewis have a great chemistry onstage, their relationship is believable and natural.” – Jen Maciulewicz, Gay RVA

“Director Anna Johnson keeps the action comfortable and down to earth. The cast utilizes the small space well, keeping the action constantly moving with great nervous energy.” – Bruce Levy, Show Biz Radio

Theater Review: A wickedly biting take on class and advantage in “Good People” at Cadence Theatre. – Rich Griset, Style Weekly

Anna,
Thank you for inviting me to come to last night’s production. Amy and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. It was a spectacular cast, great play and it always amazes me what you are able to do with sets in that black box theatre.

I told Amy that your plays always make me cry. After the first act I thought this will be the first Cadence Theatre play that I will not break down in tears. Then came the second act… So, you have made me cry at everyone of your productions.

Again, thank you for your generosity and a great evening of theatre.

Keep up the good work.
