Early preparation is essential when auditioning for college. Doing your research and knowing what to expect will give you the inside edge. This course will include:

<li>Monologue / Song selections</li>
<li>Interview preparation</li>
<li>Personalized coaching</li>
<li>Audition techniques</li>
<li>Mock auditions</li>
Our instructors’ students have matriculated to Carnegie Mellon, NYU, Northwestern, Elon, Point Park, SUNY Purchase, Marymount NY, Florida State, AMDA, Drew University, JMU, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, William and Mary, Emerson, and Boston University. This course is designed for rising high school juniors and seniors who plan to audition for both Acting and Musical Theatre programs.

<img class=”alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1771″ alt=”1477339_10152706529785353_307685203_a” src=”×150.jpg” width=”150″ height=”150″ />STEPHEN RUDLIN has privately coached over 250 voice students, many of whom pursue their dreams in NY, LA, DC and beyond. A featured soloist in The White House Gala, the Reagan Years, A Capitol Fourth, and A Ford’s Theatre Christmas, Stephen’s solo CD debut Being Alive premiered as the only CD in New York’s Cherry Lane Musical Theatre Library, featuring Tony Award-winning Maury Yeston’s “Unusual Way” from the Broadway Musical and movie Nine. Stephen last sang on the Carpenter Theatre stage as Emcee of the National Tour of the Sing-Along Sound of Music. Theatrical affiliations include: Ford’s Theatre and Virginia Repertory Theatre.

She holds a BFA from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and has trained at the University of Eurasian Theatre, Stella Adler Conservatory, Carnegie-Mellon University, and the University College of London (dramaturgy – Shakespeare and modern British). She is an award-winning actress and a member of Actors Equity Association. Theatrical affiliations include: The Public Theatre, Lincoln Center, Cadence Theatre Company, Virginia Repertory Theatre, Firehouse Theatre Project, and Company of Fools.
