Cadence Theatre Company in partnership with Virginia Rep Presents Richmond Premiere of Donald Margulies’ Sight Unseen

Richmond, VA–Cadence Theatre Company in partnership with Virginia Repertory Theatre proudly presents the Richmond premiere of Donald Margulies’ Pulitzer Prize-nominated and Obie Award-winning play, Sight Unseen. Sight Unseen runs October 16-November 8, 2014 (opens October 18) with a Talk Back Sunday post-show discussion on Sunday, October 26th. Nationally known sculptor Paul DiPasquale will facilitate.

This humorous and insightful work tells the tale of a wildly successful American Jewish artist whose British retrospective show leaves him pierced by racism and false memory. His journey causes him to question his purpose and reinvent the basis of his self worth. “…you can tell when a play has gripped its audience, for no one seems to breathe, let alone shift in his seat. This phenomenon can be observed…at Sight Unseen…”—The New York Times
