Mission: to share stories from our youth that uplift the human spirit, challenge the mind, and honor both our individuality and our shared humanity.

stage-write-logo_RGBStage Write student leadership and workforce readiness program is a project through which Richmond City High School and Middle School students will have the opportunity to write and perform stories that are relevant to their lives and the issues they face. The goal is to help them build the confidence they need to become productive members of the adult world. Through performing arts training, we will improve life skills needed in today’s workforce: speaking and standing with confidence, maintaining eye contact, using appropriate diction, identifying interests, strengths, and weaknesses, and an ability to articulate these things. We will also develop workforce readiness skills through contextualized learning, teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, self-awareness, and professionalism. In compliance with the 6th-12th grade Language Arts Standards of Learning, Stage Write strengthens verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, active listening, word choice, characterization, and overall oral presentation.
