From pre-production planning and script writing to acting for the camera, shooting, editing and output, this camp is perfect for today’s media savvy teen. Professionals will lead students through all aspects of film making, including the use of Visual Arts’ digital labs, culminating in a final screening of the work. This ArtVenture class is a partnership with The Visual Arts Center of Richmond.

SPARC and Cadence Theatre Company bring their popular, sell-out August Adventure camp back to present the kids version of Annie, a musical filled with NYC adventures and show-stopping fun. Adapted from the Broadway play, this musical contains your favorite tunes such as, “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile,” “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” and “Tomorrow.” This two-week summer performance camp is for Pre-k through rising 4th grade students. Campers will enjoy rotations of singing, dancing, acting, and arts and crafts as they collaborate to bring this beloved show to life. The final performance will be on August 14. Pre-K (age 4) through Rising 1st Grade 9 am- 1pm, $345

Disney’s High School Musical 2 JR.
SPARC and Cadence Theatre Company are back to bring you a fabulous follow up to last year’s High School Musical JR production by presenting Disney Channel’s smash hit High School Musical 2 JR! Students will have a chance to play their favorite characters at East High as they enter into a new season and a new year! This two-week summer performance camp is for students entering grades 5-8. Youth will work on all aspects of performance including acting, singing, and dancing as they work together to stage the popular show. The final performance will be on August 14th. This is the perfect way to have some fun before heading back to school!
