Anna Senechal Johnson recently returned to Richmond after having spent twelve years working as a freelance actress, director and choreographer in Idaho. A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and The British American Drama Academy, she is a Company Artist for Company of Fools in Hailey, Idaho and served for nine years as Artistic Director of a theatre arts and education program in Sun Valley, Idaho called St. Thomas Playhouse. Favorite Idaho directing credits include: Suburbia, Agnes of God, The Wizard of Oz and Jesus Christ Superstar. Favorite Richmond directing credits include: Blue Ridge Mountain Christmas (Barksdale Theatre), Kimberly Akimbo (Cadence Theatre Company in partnership with Barksdale's Theatre Gym), Godspell, Oleanna, The Fantasticks, Fool for Love (Cadence Theatre Company) , My Children! My Africa! (Theatre IV Little Theatre), A Devil Inside (Theatre IV Little Theatre), Tone Clusters (Firehouse Theatre Project), and A Doll's House (Henley Street Theatre). Acting credits include roles in Steel Magnolias, Rabbit Hole, Sight Unseen and Bus Stop.
