Cadence Camps are JAMMIN’ This Summer!

Get ready to rock this summer with Cadence Camps! We’re thrilled to be hosting four amazing shows for students ages 4 through rising 8th grade: Disney’s The Lion King KIDS, Into the Woods JR, Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS, and Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. Join us at Maggie L. Walker Governor's School for two weeks of in-person fun where students will explore acting, singing, dancing, and art. Best of all, they'll get to show off their skills in a final performance for family and friends!

Tuition

Interest-free monthly payment plans are available with a non-refundable $100 deposit (not applicable for early bird discounts). Tuition must be paid in full by the beginning of camp for those selecting payment plans.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellations before 3/31/2024 are fully refundable minus a $100 nonrefundable deposit.
Cancellations after 5/1/2024 are 50% refundable.
Cancellations after 6/1/2024 are nonrefundable, but tuition may be used as a credit for the 2024 camp or future program.

Experience the magic at Cadence Camps Jammin' in June with a dazzling summer production of Disney's The Lion King KIDS! We will bring the enchanting African savanna to life, featuring Simba, Rafiki, and an enthralling cast on a journey from Pride Rock to the jungle in this inspiring coming-of-age tale. Disney’s The Lion King KIDS highlights beloved songs from the Broadway musical and animated film, such as “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “He Lives in You,” and “Hakuna Matata.” Young performers will also acquire a variety of theatrical skills, including mask-making and puppetry, fostering a creative exploration of this cherished story. Don't miss out on the chance to celebrate the Circle of Life in this timeless story of courage, friendship and destiny!

This captivating adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s Tony Award-winning musical brings cherished characters to life in a lyrically rich retelling of Brothers Grimm fables. Follow the quests of a baker and his wife longing for a child, Cinderella yearning for the King's festival, and Jack hoping for his cow to give milk. With unforgettable roles, minimal dancing, and a refined score crafted for young performers, Into the Woods JR promises a magical experience. Dive into the depths of enchantment with Cadence Jammin' in July Camp, presenting Disney's Finding Nemo KIDS, a 30-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar film with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Join Marlin, an anxious clownfish, and his adventurous son Nemo, living in the Great Barrier Reef. When Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears, embarking on an epic oceanic journey. With the support of lovable characters like optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo conquer challenges on their quest to reunite. Memorable songs like "Just Keep Swimming," "Fish Are Friends Not Food," and "Go With the Flow" bring the vibrant underwater world to life on stage, weaving a tale of family, friendship, and adventure in Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS at Cadence Jammin' in July Camp.

Join Ariel and her oceanic companions in this enchanting adaptation from Disney's Broadway production and movie, showcasing Academy Award-winning music and delightful book and lyrics. Rooted in Hans Christian Andersen's cherished tale, Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR delves into the sacrifices made for love and acceptance. In a whimsical underwater realm, Ariel dreams of forsaking her ocean dwelling and fins to live above, prompting her to defy her father, King Triton, strike a deal with the sea witch Ursula, and persuade Prince Eric that she possesses the enchanting voice he seeks. Don't miss this unforgettable aquatic experience with Cadence this summer!
