More at Cadence
YOUTH ARTS - Registration NoticeJammin’ in June & July
Calling all theatre kids! Whether your kid is new to the spotlight or a seasoned performer, they’ll enjoy our Jammin’ in June and Jammin’ in July programs. All students will participate in acting, singing, dancing, and art classes over the course of two weeks, culminating in a final performance for families and friends!
YOUTH ARTS - Summer R&PUrinetown
A sidesplitting sendup of greed, love, revolution (and musicals!), set in a time when water is worth its weight in gold. Winner of three Tony Awards, three Outer Critics Circle Awards, two Lucille Lortel Awards, and two Obie Awards, Urinetown is a hilarious musical satire of the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, environmental collapse, privatization of natural resources, bureaucracy, municipal politics, and musical theatre itself. Hilariously funny and touchingly honest, Urinetown provides a fresh perspective on one of America’s greatest art forms.

In partnership with Firehouse Theatre, Cadence presents the world premiere of WitchDuck. Based on the true story of Grace Sherwood, Virginia’s last convicted witch, this darkly comic and subversive new play pulls history to the surface with humor, defiance, and a sharp feminist edge.
