Testimonials

  • “Working with Cadence gave me the opportunities I needed to follow my passion and grow as a creative. I learned a lot about running a production, promoting local arts, and supporting a community of passionate minds during my time with Cadence. They gave me my first taste of acting through the TRAIN pre-professional youth program at 12 years old and fostered my development all the way to casting me in my debut professional production of Native Gardens at the age of 17. I feel much more confident and well rounded as an actor and a leader thanks to the support and family that I found through Cadence.”

    — Milind Murthy

  • "As a young local Stage Manager, Cadence has provided professional opportunities to me that help me hone in on my skills and learn from real life practice. As a Stage Manager it’s important to have strong communication and leadership skills and Cadence has allowed me to learn and practice these skills while providing professional experience. I’m forever grateful that the Richmond community has Cadence to share these opportunities with other young artists!”

    Isabel Stone

  • "As a young artist in the Richmond area, working with Cadence has provided me with experience and knowledge that will benefit me throughout my career. I've had the opportunity to work with actors of all ages and love the environment and theatrical experiences that Cadence creates."
