Support Cadence
We invite you to join our community of supporters and help us continue to make a positive impact through the arts.
Show Sponsorship
Support from local corporations and businesses enables us to fulfill our mission to inspire, transform, and educate our community by developing talent through the presentation of contemporary theatre and film works that uplift the spirit, challenge the mind, and honor both our individuality and our shared humanity. Simply put, Cadence needs your funding to continue to touch the lives of thousands.
In addition to the benefits outlined below, your altruism is recognized by our audiences, individual donors, board members, and participants. We estimate our audiences annually top over 5000 with 2000 for our holiday show and more than 1000 for our plays and musicals. Your brand will be associated with an award-winning organization that reaches and represents all of Greater Richmond. Show your civic values, intentions, and culture by sharing in our efforts to build a strong, inclusive, and enlightened community.
You may also send your donation via check to Cadence Theatre Company, P.O. Box 7119, Richmond, Virginia 23221

Film & TV Sponsorship
Cadence is thrilled to venture into the world of storytelling, entertainment, and art through film. In recent years, we’ve produced an award-winning original film and several short films, using cinema and TV as powerful mediums for storytelling. Our Sitelines BLM short films highlight stories from BIPOC writers, while The Taylows is an original thriller created by local teens, exploring Richmond’s complex history with racism and its impact on the city today.
These projects have energized Cadence, our audience, and our talented creators, who have infused their souls into these innovative new works. And it’s only left everyone hungry for more.
We have dreams to create even more boundary-pushing TV and film projects in the future, giving talented actors, writers, and filmmakers a chance to receive mentorship and hands-on experience through new avenues. From paying our teachers and mentors, crew, editors, sound designers, and writers, to escalating production costs, locations, and more; the cost of these films adds up.
We need your support! We invite you to join us in this important work by making a donation or becoming a corporate sponsor. Every contribution, at any level, makes a difference.
