Notes on Content
From Concord Theatricals: SIX: TEEN EDITION includes all songs from the original version, with reimagined lines and lyrics to minimize suggestive language and alternate line changes to reframe UK references for a US audience.
This play is still about the murder of five women by their husband, the King of England. All actors and parents/ guardians are advised to familiarize themselves with the music (available here) before making a decision about whether to audition for this production.
SIX: TEEN EDITION is part of an educational, tuition-based training and performance program. Participants receive professional instruction and mentorship throughout the rehearsal and performance process while developing skills in acting, singing, dancing, collaboration, and theatrical storytelling.

Notes on Casting
From Concord Theatricals: At its heart, SIX is about celebrating the talent and individuality of the women and non-binary people onstage. The Queens should therefore be played by cis women, trans women, trans people and people who exist beyond the gender binary in any capacity, who feel on a personal level that this is their story to tell.
Cast can be expanded to include backup singers and dancers of all gender identities. The creative team anticipates that some or all roles will be double cast, and that there will be an ensemble.
